Organization Overview: Flourish Education and Mentorship Society provides youth programming focused on empowerment, connection, and well-being through community-based and outdoor learning experiences.

Position Summary: The Program and Administrative Assistant supports organizational operations, communications, and program coordination and execution. This role includes administrative tasks, outreach support, and participation in summer program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in summer camps as an assistant facilitator 
  • Provide administrative support including data entry and document management
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, records, and databases
  • Support program registration and participant communications
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination
  • Create and schedule social media content
  • Assist with newsletters, digital communications and website if required
  • Support volunteer coordination
  • Assist with supply tracking and inventory
  • Conduct basic research for outreach and funding

Qualifications:

  • Ideally experience working with youth in group settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace 
  • Familiarity with social media and design tools is an asset
  • Detail-oriented and reliable
  • Access to a computer and internet

Organization Overview: Flourish Education and Mentorship Society delivers summer empowerment programs for youth aged 9–16, focused on mental, emotional, and social well-being. Programs emphasize confidence-building, connection, and personal development through group learning and outdoor activities.

Position Summary: The Summer Program Facilitator is responsible for delivering structured day camp programming, supervising participants, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. This role combines program delivery, participant support, and basic administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily camp programming including discussions, activities, and outdoor learning
  • Deliver curriculum on topics such as well-being, relationships, identity, and communication
  • Lead group activities including games, creative projects, and nature-based experiences
  • Supervise participants and ensure safety and well-being at all times
  • Maintain positive group dynamics
  • Communicate with parents/guardians during daily transitions
  • Track attendance and complete required documentation
  • Assist with camp setup, cleanup, and supply organization
  • Support participant intake and registration processes as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with youth in group settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead activities and manage group dynamics
  • Organized and adaptable
  • Comfortable facilitating youth development topics
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Access to reliable transportation is an asset
  • Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
